Pit-lane errors cost Massa and Ferrari dear

After Felipe Massa’s scintillating qualifying performance, Ferrari were confident of victory heading into Sunday’s inaugural Singapore Grand Prix. Instead, however, they leave the Marina Bay circuit rueing vital pit-stop errors that ruined the Brazilian’s race and cost the Italian team the lead in the constructors’ championship.

Everything started smoothly for Massa, the pole-sitter quickly building a lead over title rival Lewis Hamilton. But at his first pit stop disaster struck. He was given the green light too early and left with the fuel hose still attached to his car.

Massa was forced to wait at the end of the pit lane for his mechanics to run down and wrestle the hose off, but he then received a drive-through penalty for being unsafely released from the stop. The blunder undoubtedly cost him the race and after a late puncture he eventually finished 13th - 35 seconds adrift of victor Fernando Alonso.

“It's hard to deal with losing in this fashion a race that was within our grasp, with a car that was just the way I wanted it,” said Massa. “We had a good strategy and all the signs were there that we could get a one-two finish. But things can change in a moment and that's what happened today. At the pit stop, one of the guys made a mistake. But we are only human. Each one of us always tries to do our best and these things can happen.”

Despite Massa’s strife, Ferrari were still poised to pick up four points courtesy of Kimi Raikkonen, who was running in P5 after his final pit stop. That was until the champion went off into the wall at Turn 10 with less than four laps to go.

"I was trying to attack Glock in case he might make a mistake, but I went slightly wide at the chicane, jumping over the kerb and when the car landed, I lost control and ended up in the barriers,” explained Raikkonen. “My situation in the championship was already rather compromised, so this doesn't really make that much difference but I am unhappy because the team has lost precious points in the constructors' classification.”

Ferrari’s failure to score in Singapore means that rivals McLaren now lead the constructors’ standings, with 135 points to the reigning champions’ 134.

Alonso is the winner!
Firstly, CONGRATS TO ALONSO!!!!!!!!! He won the Singapore Grand Prix!

Secondly, HOW COULD FERRARI DID THAT MISTAKE IN THE PIT STOP!!! If not Massa could be the winner man.....
Self-Confidence Formula
Quoted from the book too.

Self-Confidence Formula

First:
I know what I have the ability to achieve the object of my definite purpose in life; therefore, I demand of myself persistent, continuous action towards its attainment, and I here and now promise to render such action.

Second:
I realize the dominating thoughts of my mind will eventually reproduce themselves in outward, physical action, and gradually transform themselves into physical reality; therefore, I will concentrate my thoughts for thirty minutes daily, upon the task of thinking of the person I intend to become, thereby creawting in my mind a clear mental picture.

Third:
I know through the principle of autosuggestion, any desire that I persistently hold in my mind will eventually seek expression through some practical means of attaining the object back of it; therefore, I will devote ten minutes daily to demanding of myself the development of self-confidence.

Fourth:
I have clearly written down a description of my definate chief aim in life, and I will never stop trying, until I shall have developed sufficient self-confidence for its attainment.

Fifth:
I fully realize that no wealth or position can long endure, unless built upon truth and justice; therefore, I will engage in no transaction which does not benefit all whom it affects. I will succeed by attracting to myself the forces I wish to use, and the cooperation of other people. I will induce others to serve me, because of my willingness to serve others. I will eliminate hatred, envy, jealous, selfishness, and cynicisn, by developing love for all humanity, because I know that a negative attitude toward others can never bring me success. I will cause others to believe in me, because I will believe in them, and in myself. I will sign my name to this formula, commit it to memory, and repeat it aloud once a day, with full faith that i will gradually influence my thoughts and actions so that i will become a self-reliant, and successful person.

It's kinda like a pledge, but I wonders it will work, haha, I think i got to try out. =D
Six Ways to Turn Desires into Gold.
Recently read a book "Think and Grow Rich"

Quoted from the book.

Six Ways to Turn Desires into Gold.

First:
Fix in your mind the exact amount of money you desire. It is not sufficient merely to say "I want plenty of money." Be definite as to the amount.

Second:
Determine exactly what you intend to give in return for the money you desire. (There is no such reality as "something for nothing.")

Third:
Establish a definite date when you intend to possess the money you desire.

Fourth:
Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and begin at once, whether you are ready or not, to put this plan into action.

Fifth:
Write out a clear, concise statement oif the amount of money you intend to acquire, name the time limit for its acquistion, state what you intend to give in return for the money, and describe clearly the plan through which you intend to accumulate it.

Sixth:
Read your written statement aloud, twice daily, once just before retiring at night, and once after arising in the morning. As you read-see and and feel and believe yourself already in possession of the money.
I WONT FORGIVE!

Work is Boring
It's getting more and more boring at work, everyday getting the same old call, uncle and auntie calling in to ask about e-submission, registration. The more normal call will be people calling in to ask which mode of submission to choose for their company. Some of the people will ask if their submission is successful. All sorts of weird questions will be thrown in when I am working here.

Alright, for today, I asked Sheng Lin if he wanna come down to Tanjong Pagar to have lunch with me, immediate sms rejection from him. Sad. Actually I don't have anything to blog, just that I wanted to type for fun. Hahas.
Lance Armstrong is back for No.8!
Salute to Lance Armstrong, after 3 years of retirement from professional cycling, he's back to challenge No.8 Tour De France champion! If he manage to win, he will be the oldest winner of the Tour De France. Kudos to Lance Armstrong and Live Strong!

Thursday............................................ Shag
Days had been flashing pass quickly since I start working. I feel that I am not very productive working in CPF Temp Admin. Just answering calls and teaching the aunties and uncles to do esubmission. But what to do, holiday will soon be over, and I got to go back to school to study once again.

Woke up at 6am today, drag my feet to wash up etc. My eczema is flaring up once again, which means I do not have enough sleep. Slept at around 11pm everyday, so it's about 7 hours sleep? But I guess it's not enough for me. For me I think that I must have 8 hours and above of sleepness. Tomorrow my family is going Genting. I had been up to Genting countless times. Imagine 2 years back I went there 4 times a year. I wish my father would drive up to Genting, instead of taking bus. But he do not have partners to accompany him, therefore he do not dare to drive up there. Most probably I will be fixing up my bike tonight, as I had degrease and clean up every parts of them. I felt that I am quite lucky, Missing Link for my chain was given by Attitude Bike, Dura-Ace grease was given by Ben, C2C. This time round I had just bought the tools, degreaser, and lube. The crown cap of the fork was changed by Thomas of Bike Link. Therefore, tonight is fixing day! These few days in MRT I had been taking the empty train from Yishun to Raffles Place. I was really very tired, slept throughout the whole journey. Today woke up at City Hall, saw a pregnant women, felt really guilty not giving up the seat to her, but it's already at City Hall. If I had woke up and saw her earlier, I would have gave her the seat. Hope Priscilla study hard and score well for her promos, at the same time take care of her body well. Alright that's all, time to work.
Monday's Blue
It's Monday once again, I am just wondering how much Mondays i had went through, countless. Hmm. Maybe I should really go count it.

Last Saturday morning I went out with Sheng Lin, was intending to go to Tampines to collect my Parktool chain cleaner at first, but in the end the seller didn't reply my sms. Therefore went to have breakfast with Sheng Lin. Had fried carrot cake at Yishun Central. After having our breakfast, we proceed to Orchard. Appointment for my skin doctor was initially at 11.45am. But I reached there at 11am; luckily I could go in earlier. After that, we went window shopping at Orchard. Waited for Danny to arrive at 1pm, wait for Mobile Square to open, but the person delayed till 2pm. Therefore in the middle of the waiting, we went eating at KFC. Had Zinger student meal. Was enquiring about the Bak2U software for my N82. The person at Mobile Square didn't know much about it, so we proceed on the Adelphi for Sheng Lin's Sansa instead. Upon reaching there, we saw the distributor for Bak2U software, went to enquire about it, in the end I didn't purchase it because the person is still able to do a hard reset on the phone if it get stolen. After which we proceed to Jaben to look for Sheng Lin's Sansa. Bad luck of him, Jaben didn't have the colour Sheng Lin wants. I tested the Go Vibe Martini, sounds good on my EP630, but the price is too steep for me. Went to Gee Hin at Waterloo Street to get bike tools to frame swap myself. Cost me S$110.00 for all the tools I bought, but to me it will be very worth it as I can fix up the bike myself and do all the necessary servicing myself, which will save up more than S$110.00 which get me started. I was thinking to do part time bike servicing too, to earn some side income. Haha, maybe I should earn more experience in it first. After a whole day of shopping, went home for dinner. Initially was intending to go for last ride of my GT, but a huge downpour destroyed the whole event.

Yesterday(Sunday) went out at around 9.40am to Blk 749 coffee shop. It was the first time there with my family. Saw Zhang Yan but i think she don't recognize me. Saw Zi Yan shortly after I was eating. After which we proceed back to Chong Pang market. My father's hp plan is up, therefore he can change phone once he get a company letter. I told him that he can get Iphone for 49 bucks, he seems very interested in it and told me that he want to get it to play play. I felt my bond between the family and me is getting closer, which is what I wanted. Haha. And everything happens like every Sunday, went to have lunch, proceed to Mandai and dinner. Dismantled my bike using the tools i bought on Saturday, while pulling out a cable, one of the shifter screw got lost, I hope i can find it by tonight as they are quite important for tuning. Broke the chain, hope that I can buy a missing chain link for it, so washing the chain will be easier by a lot. That's what happened throughout the weekend I had.

Today is Monday, yea Monday's blue. Woke up at 6.10am and proceed on with what i did last 2 weeks. Came to work place, got frustrated by person-in-charge, asking me to shift place which I had just change and tidy Ken's previous place. Don't wish talk about it, I am just here to work, therefore I try not to defy my head's order. But she allows me to go back to that place tomorrow, I will see if she means what she say, if not I will email to HR for a change in department if there's other vacancy available at other department. Actually I didn't really hate the pc I am using now, just that it's quite lag. But one thing CPF can do, increase the RAM from 256mb to 1gb, increase the virtual ram settings in the PC. EVERTHING ABOUT THE LAGNESS CONFIRM WILL BE SOLVED. Through these days I had been in the IT industry, it's not the computer, it's the parts of the computer, I didn't have much privileges for the computer, therefore I cant increase the virtual RAM for the computer. Yea too bad. If not the pc I am using will be faster than the IBM PC(Which colleagues known as a fast PC). Therfore I changed to classic mode of the XP, reduce RAM usage and lagness, that's what I can do currently. Alright, got to work. Ciao
I felt very lucky!
I lost my pouch on Sunday, but on Monday, a person named Mr Wong returned everything to me. He came up to my house on Monday, but no one was at home, he tried to contact UOB and DBS bank, but they did not want to tell Mr Wong my particulars. Mr Wong tried to call CPF, but CPF told him that my pass is a temp pass, therefore contacting me is very difficult. In the end, one of the bank contacted my house and my mum picked up the call. My mum contacted recruit express, Sarah, after that Sarah contacted CPF to contact me. Therefore in the end HR contacted me to call my mum. After which i called my mother and she told me everything that happened. I was very happy about it. My conclusion is that in Singapore, there is still good people around. Very surprisingly, everything was back, it was as if it was a dream. I am very grateful to Mr Wong. He was a bike shop owner last time too, and he is a motorbike shop owner now. Alright, finish blogging for the day, got to work, bye! =D
Feeling sad
It had been 1 day since I had lost my personal belongings. I had caused many problems to my family yesterday. Father changed house door lock etc. Therefore i was wondering if i should go get one good lock for my house, whereby the house key and the door key are used by one key. I guess I should. Had to go down to the police station to add on to my statement for my SP student pass lost. But I really hope that someone will report the things to the police, so I could get back my IC, and the admin stuffs. How i wish that he took my phone but leave other things alone. It's really my fault this time. I am wondering how long will these cases last, but I hope it will end ASAP. Had thus got my punishment this time, therefore for the next cycling trip, i will change to a lousy phone, and some money, I won’t bring a lot of things out. Freak, this time I am seriously really scared.

Alarm clock rang at 6am today, I don't have my N82 to wake me up anymore, felt so depressed about it. But I slept till 6.30am, walked lazily to brush my teeth etc. Went to work slowly at 7.15am and board the train at 7.35am. Found a sit and slept throughout the journey. Ok, got to work, bye.
